Construction begins on a temporary detention center and facilities for the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police's Mobile Police Force.

On the morning of December 16th, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Provincial Police Detention Center; the headquarters of the Mobile Police Unit; and the barracks and training facility for the Reserve Mobile Police Regiment of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department. Colonel Tran Thai Quang Hoang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, presided over the ceremony.

Delegates pressed the button to officially launch the construction of the Provincial Police Detention Center, the Mobile Police Headquarters, and the barracks and training facility for the Reserve Mobile Police Regiment.

The Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Detention Center, located in Dong Son ward, was approved by the Minister of Public Security with a total investment of over 481 billion VND. The project, constructed by Investcorp Group, includes several components: an officer's quarters, a detention area, and supporting facilities and technical infrastructure.

The headquarters of the Mobile Police Department and the training base for the Reserve Mobile Police Regiment of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department have been approved and are being built in Ham Rong ward with a total investment of over 379 billion VND. The project, constructed by Investcorp Group, includes many components to ensure stable and long-term use, fully meeting the working, living, and duty conditions for officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Department of the Provincial Police. Simultaneously, it meets the training and combat readiness requirements of the Reserve Mobile Police Regiment and aims to be a centralized training center for regulations, military skills , and martial arts for all officers and soldiers of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Thai Quang Hoang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized: The commencement of construction of these projects is a significant event, demonstrating the close and timely guidance and attention of the Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Thanh Hoa; and the Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police regarding the investment in the construction of office buildings for the units. This is also a concrete implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022, of the Politburo and Decision No. 2858/QD-TU dated March 16, 2022, of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the Thanh Hoa Police force to be truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

The delegates viewed the overall perspective of the Provincial Police Detention Center project.

To ensure the project is completed on time, with guaranteed quality, progress, and efficiency, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department requested that relevant units coordinate with the construction unit, concentrate human and material resources, strictly adhere to technical procedures, ensure safety during construction, and closely monitor the project to ensure it is built according to the approved design, meeting technical and aesthetic standards and achieving the highest efficiency.
