Groundbreaking ceremony of the Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Chieng Khuong Commune

On October 22, in Chieng Khuong commune, the Military Command of Son La province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build a boarding school for Chieng Khuong commune's primary and secondary levels. This is one of 13 inter-level schools deployed in Son La province according to the Conclusion Notice No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Military Command - the project investor, briefly introduced the scale of the project. The Chieng Khuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School is built in Tan Lap village, with a total planned construction area of nearly 5 hectares, with a scale of receiving more than 1,000 students. The project includes many items such as: Classrooms, subject classrooms, library, principal's house; dormitory area, official housing; student kitchen, multi-purpose house, outdoor sports field and other auxiliaries... to meet the requirements of teaching, learning and physical training of students. The project is constructed by the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation, Ministry of National Defense , with the goal of striving to complete before July 30, 2026.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the school is of great significance, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, the State and Son La province for the cause of educating people in the border areas. As the investor, the Provincial Military Command commits to carry out the construction with the highest responsibility, ensuring quality, aesthetics and progress; promoting the spirit of soldiers and people working together, mobilizing resources to complete, hand over and put the project into use on time.

The construction unit, the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation, Ministry of National Defense, promotes a high sense of responsibility, strictly complies with regulations on basic construction investment; focuses on human resources, material resources, and construction machinery according to schedule, organizes construction scientifically and reasonably, and finishes on time to ensure "safety - quality - progress - efficiency - sustainability".
