On October 22, Son La province held a contract signing ceremony for the Moc Chau Gateway Service Urban Area Project between the People's Committee of Son La province and the consortium of VINA2 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company - Bac Nam Construction Joint Stock Company No. 2. Signing contract for Moc Chau Gateway Service Urban Area Project.

The Moc Chau Gateway Service Urban Area Project is being implemented in Van Son Ward with a total area of about 387,403 m², with an estimated population of about 2,600 people. The project includes technical infrastructure construction items, social infrastructure works and about 593 low-rise houses. The total investment of the project is 2,356.2 billion VND, of which the project implementation cost is about 2,230.9 billion VND, compensation and site clearance costs are about 117.3 billion VND, and the cost of protecting and developing rice-growing land is about 8 billion VND. The source of capital for implementation is the investor's equity and other legally mobilized sources. The project implementation period is expected to be 57 months.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The Moc Chau Gateway Service Urban Area Project is being implemented to form a new modern residential area with synchronous technical and social infrastructure, meeting the housing and commercial service needs of the people. At the same time, effectively exploiting land funds, perfecting urban architecture and landscape, attracting non-budgetary investment resources, contributing to promoting the socio -economic development of the locality.

He requested investors to closely coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities to promptly complete procedures, ensure progress, quality and compliance with legal regulations; soon implement the project, contributing to completing urban infrastructure, creating a new look for Son La province.

Representatives of the Joint Venture of VINA2 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company - Bac Nam Construction Joint Stock Company No. 2 thanked the attention and close direction of the People's Committee of Son La province during the project preparation process. Immediately after the signing ceremony, the enterprise urgently completed legal procedures and made a detailed plan to implement the work items. The Joint Venture Company committed to mobilizing maximum resources, implementing the project on schedule, ensuring quality, complying with legal regulations; closely coordinating with the provincial authorities, soon putting the project into operation, promoting investment efficiency.
