As one of the important activities of Ho Chi Minh City towards the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023), the 137th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2023), the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the 35th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup bicycle race - 2023 "The country is one strip - Belief in victory", HTV - Ton Dong A 35 will start from the capital Hanoi on April 2, then go through 30 provinces and cities such as: Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Can Tho, An Giang, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and ending on April 30, 2023 in front of Thong Nhat Hall, Ho Chi Minh City.
BTC introduces the winning shirts and prize values
At the press conference on March 20, Mr. Thai Thanh Chung, Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Television Station - Race Steering Committee said: "After 34 seasons that have resonated with experts and fans, 2023 is a very special year for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race, marking the 35th anniversary. This year, the race will continue to promote the development image of Vietnam through the scenic spots of the localities that the race passes through. These will be the most beautiful and vivid images imbued with the cultural characteristics of the regions sent to domestic and foreign tourists."
The total prize value of the 35th season is over 2 billion VND, including individual and team prizes for each stage and the final prize. Of which, the final Yellow Jersey receives a prize of up to 200 million VND, the Green Jersey for the sprint king and the Red Jersey for the mountain king have a prize of 50 million VND/prize, the White Jersey for the young athlete with the highest overall ranking is 30 million VND. The winning racers of each stage also receive attractive prizes, of which the first place is awarded up to 20 million VND.
