Ho Chi Minh City continues to recruit teachers when implementing 2-level local government

(NLDO) - Specifically, continue to recruit civil servants to work at medical facilities and teachers at primary and secondary schools under the city's management.

On May 14, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a document to departments, branches, Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts on recruiting civil servants at medical facilities and teachers at general schools and kindergartens in the city during the period of reorganizing the organization, apparatus and implementing the current 2-level local government model.

Specifically, according to the City People's Committee, based on Official Dispatch No. 14697/2025 of the Central Party Office on the conclusion of the meeting of the Politburo and the Secretariat on May 3 on the situation and progress of the implementation of the organizational arrangement. In order to implement the policy of the Politburo and the Secretariat on recruiting civil servants in the health and education sectors in the city, meeting the requirements of providing essential public services continuously and promptly to people and businesses, in accordance with the practical situation of socio-economic development.

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Home Affairs in Submission No. 3304/2025. The Chairman of the City People's Committee has the following direction:

Agreed to continue recruiting civil servants to work at medical facilities and teachers at general schools and kindergartens under the city's management. Requesting competent agencies and units to recruit civil servants at public service units in the fields ofeducation (preschool, general) and health to urgently review and organize the recruitment of civil servants (health and teachers) for job positions in accordance with the above policy, ensuring sufficient human resources to perform assigned tasks and within the number of employees assigned by competent authorities.

For other recruitment contents: continue to implement according to Official Dispatch No. 2437 of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on recruitment; appointment of leadership and management positions; promotion of civil servant ranks, promotion of professional titles of public employees and labor contracts according to Decree No. 111/2022 of the Government when implementing the organization and apparatus arrangement of the City's political system.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to guide, monitor and inspect the implementation of recruitment to ensure compliance with the above regulations and instructions; promptly report to the City People's Committee on matters beyond its authority for consideration and resolution.
