Don Duong: Awarding scholarships to 185 students in difficult circumstances

(LĐ online) - On May 27, the Don Duong District Association for Promotion of Education held a scholarship awarding ceremony for 185 students with difficult circumstances but who have strived to study well and excellently in the 2024-2025 school year.

Mr. Do Hoang Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded scholarships to students.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Don Duong District Association for the Promotion of Education emphasized the importance of promoting education and talents in improving people's knowledge, nurturing talents and contributing to building a learning society.

The Association for Promotion of Education at all levels, from local to provincial, has made continuous efforts in mobilizing, building and developing the Fund for Promotion of Education. In particular, the cooperation and contributions of organizations, individuals and philanthropists inside and outside the district have created a solid resource to reward outstanding examples in learning and teaching.

At the ceremony, each student received a scholarship of 1 million VND, with a total amount of 185 million VND; of which, 40 million VND came from the Lam Dong Provincial Scholarship Fund and 145 million VND came from the Don Duong District Scholarship Fund.
