Reduce multidimensional poverty rate by 0.3 - 0.5% by 2025

The goal by the end of 2025 is to reduce the multidimensional poverty rate of the whole province by 0.3 - 0.5%, equivalent to a reduction of 1,084 - 1,806 households. Of which, the multidimensional poverty rate of ethnic minorities will decrease by 0.5 - 1%, equivalent to a reduction of 410 - 821 households. In general, the rate of households falling back into poverty and near-poverty will be reduced to below 5% annually. There will be no more households with meritorious service policies that are poor households.

The whole province implements policies to ensure that 100% of poor households, near-poor households, and households escaping poverty can borrow capital to develop production and business according to their needs; 100% of poor people of working age are supported with training, coaching and career orientation, with priority given to introducing stable jobs and increasing income.

In addition, 100% of people in poor and near-poor households are supported to participate in health insurance; the rate of malnutrition in children under 16 years old in poor and near-poor households is below 31%.
