Bao Lam: There will be a competition for architectural design plans to build a bridge over Loc Thang Lake.

Loc Thang Lake (Loc Thang town, Bao Lam district) is being assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to Bao Lam District People's Committee to carry out investment procedures for bridge construction.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Bao Lam district to study the recommendations of the Department of Finance to implement investment procedures for the bridge over Loc Thang lake in accordance with the provisions of law.

According to the investment proposal of the Department of Finance, the investment in the project to build a bridge across Loc Thang Lake is extremely necessary, in order to shorten the traffic distance in the central area of Loc Thang town through Loc Quang commune; gradually complete the traffic infrastructure of Loc Thang town according to the planning to renovate and expand the urban space; contribute to promoting the socio -economic development of localities.

Along with that, according to Decision No. 265/QD-UBND dated February 19, 2013 of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on approving the general construction planning of Loc Thang town until 2025, the project has a route that is consistent with the approved planning in terms of both location and investment scale. This project has been agreed upon in principle by the Provincial People's Committee.

The bridge project has a prominent location across Loc Thang Lake, one of the typical landscape spaces of the area. Therefore, it must have a unique architectural character, be a highlight in terms of image and urban landscape. Based on the regulations, the investment project to build a bridge across Loc Thang Lake is a project subject to organizing a competition for architectural design plans according to current law. Therefore, in order to have a basis for establishing, appraising and approving the investment policy, the project needs to conduct a competition for architectural plans.
