In the Mountainous Trade Development Program from 2021 to 2025, the province has supported the upgrading of 60 OCOP products of 38 enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and business households. At the same time, trade promotion activities were organized at major events in the province and other provinces and cities in the country with participating companies including: PT Lam Dong Honey, Sao Vang Macadamia, Yen Lam Lam Dong, Vietnam Technology, Huong Huy Food, Hung Ha; cooperatives: Nam Ha Agricultural and Forestry Services, Langbiang Green Asparagus, Meli Green Farm, Tan Thanh Agricultural Services. As of April 30, 2025, out of a total of 583 OCOP products in the province, there were 5-star (2 products), 4-star (87 products), 4-star upgrade to 5-star (7 products), 3-star (494 products). The province has also supported 100% of OCOP products to register information and sell through e-commerce channels such as: Sendo of FPT ; voso of Viettel Post; postmart of VnPost; tiki-BigC/GO!; shopee and lazada; put agricultural products on the website nongsandalatlamdong.vn to promote, introduce and connect trade with domestic and foreign organizations and individuals.
In conjunction with the Project on Linking Production, Processing and Consumption of Agricultural Products in the area, the Provincial Mountainous Trade Development Program for the 2021-2025 period has also implemented 102 projects to support linking production with agricultural product consumption with a total capital of more than 325.8 billion VND. Specifically, 38 provincial-level projects and 64 district-level projects. As a result, by the end of 2024, the province has disbursed nearly 185 billion VND from chain linkage support projects, including more than 65.6 billion VND from the state budget, more than 119.3 billion VND from counterpart funds of enterprises, cooperatives and farmers.
According to the assessment of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the development progress of the number of linkage chains in the whole province has met the set plan. The linkage chain applying modern processes has helped farmers produce according to plans, processes, and VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards, improving the quality and value of agricultural products, creating consistent, high-quality products, ensuring food safety, thereby gradually increasing farmers' income. This is also an important premise to help businesses create large raw material areas, build and enhance the position of domestic and export agricultural products of the province. Thereby, up to now, the whole province has granted 114 durian growing area codes with an area of nearly 5,490 hectares, accounting for 60.2% of the total purely commercial growing area, 10 durian packing facility codes with a factory area of 13,419 m2. Of which, Dam Rong district has 4 durian growing area codes of 212.5 hectares with 49 associated households; Lam Ha district has 2 growing area codes of 82.8 hectares with 22 associated households. As for the results of monitoring the quality of agricultural products in Lam Ha district, the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development collected and analyzed 114 samples of coffee, ham, spring rolls, chili powder, pepper powder, chili sauce, tomato sauce, black sauce, canned food, ham, dried seafood, vegetables, macadamia, honey. In Dam Rong district, 38 samples of ham, spring rolls, chili powder, pepper powder, chili sauce, tomato sauce, black sauce, dried seafood, vegetables were collected and analyzed. In 2025, about 30 samples of agricultural products will be collected and analyzed in each of these districts...
In the period of 2026 - 2030, in Lam Ha and Dam Rong districts in particular and the whole province in general, continue to implement the Mountainous Trade Development Program associated with projects and plans to expand the production and consumption chain of agricultural products; issue codes for growing areas; guide and train advanced production techniques, post-harvest preservation; control the quality of agricultural products. In addition, support the development and upgrading of OCOP products and the development of craft villages and rural industries in the two districts of Lam Ha and Dam Rong. In addition, focus on implementing policies and mechanisms to support market development, mobilize production, preliminary processing and processing units of agricultural products in these two districts to participate in trade promotion programs, advertise, introduce products, provide information, open online booths on e-commerce sites, social platforms, etc.
