Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union commends progressive youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2025

• CULTIVATING REVOLUTIONARY IDEALS FOR THE YOUNG GENERATION

The Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union determined that caring for and educating the revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for the younger generation is a regular, long-term, and urgent task. Therefore, the work of propagating and implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle" has been focused on and effectively implemented among Youth Union officials and young union members.

Over the past 10 years, the Youth Union - Association - Pioneer organizations in the province have regularly maintained the content of "Telling stories about Ho Chi Minh's moral example" and the contest "We tell stories about Uncle Ho", cultural and artistic performances praising the Party and Uncle Ho. At the same time, they have organized study sessions and disseminated thematic topics on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; and propagated the resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, Marxism-Leninism, and Ho Chi Minh's ideology. In addition, the Youth Union chapters at all levels have also organized more than 1,200 activities to visit revolutionary relic sites, museums, and historical sites associated with the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh.

The study and following of Uncle Ho's example have been applied by the province's youth to each specific task and work, bringing positive results. Among them, we can mention the Youth Movement joining hands to build new rural areas with the construction of 18 new roads; repairing 159 km of rural roads; building and repairing 21 cultural houses; building 36 charity houses; implementing the project of Lighting up the countryside with a total length of 75 km; maintaining and building 178 new roads "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - civilized - safe". The Youth Movement participating in building urban civilization has been implemented with more than 1,732 social work sessions to help beautify the landscape of the streets; planting trees; Organize and mobilize young people to build cultural life in residential areas and cultural lifestyle among teenagers... The Youth Movement to protect the environment and respond to climate change has been promoted by all levels of the Youth Union, planting and caring for nearly 1.9 million trees; building 7 youth nursery models; collecting waste to protect the environment...

Notably, the Volunteer Movement to ensure social security is maintained regularly. Every year, the Youth Union at all levels coordinates to give Tet gifts to more than 10,500 children, 6,500 young union members, and workers in difficult circumstances; coordinates to organize free medical examinations and medicine for about 8,700 people; visits and gives more than 12,450 gifts to the poor with a total cost of more than 15 billion VND...

• LEARN FROM SIMPLE THINGS

Mr. Ndu Ha Bien - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union affirmed: “After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05, Youth Union - Association - Pioneer cadres as well as young union members have increasingly become more deeply aware of the basic contents and great values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. From there, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has become a voluntary and regular task of each Youth Union level, first of all of the leaders of the Youth Union organizations and of young Party members”. Therefore, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee identified the Campaign "Building the style and conduct of Youth Union cadres" as an important content to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW; identifying the criteria of creativity, responsibility, exemplary, and closeness to the grassroots as breakthrough content in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

In addition, the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union also promptly commended and rewarded outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. In the period of 2016 - 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized the commendation of 380 individuals and collectives with the title of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings, 83 Outstanding Young Teachers, 82 5-Good Students, 213 3-Good Students, 11 3-Good Students at the provincial level. At the same time, promptly grasped public opinion among young union members, promoting the important role of the Youth Union organization in Party building work. Youth Union chapters at all levels promoted patriotic emulation movements, effectively implementing the Campaign "Young union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam". Over the past 10 years, the province has introduced 23,138 outstanding union members and 5,857 outstanding union members have been honored to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Recently, Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union has honored 28 individuals with the title of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025. As one of the individuals honored this time, Mr. Che Thanh Cong - Secretary of the Youth Union of Ward 9, Da Lat City shared: “As a young party member as well as a Youth Union official, I always take Ho Chi Minh's thought as a guiding principle in life as well as in work. Not only trying to cultivate the ideal of living beautifully, living usefully and professional capacity to overcome difficulties and challenges, completing assigned tasks well, I myself always promote the role of a pioneer, setting an example. Becoming a bridge between the Youth Union force and the Party and the Youth Union so that the young generation can boldly promote their own capacity in building their homeland".
