Digitization of civil status data reaches 98.5%

According to the Department of Justice of Lam Dong province, to date, the province has digitized 1,648,350/1,673,717 civil status cases, reaching 98.5%. Localities have implemented digitalization in accordance with regulations for eligible cases. At the same time, the Department has issued 34 copies of civil status extracts; provided guidance on re-registration of births involving foreign elements; requested a review of administrative procedures related to civil status documents; coordinated the handling of data discrepancies between the electronic civil status database and the national population database.

In the field of criminal records, the Department has established 2,776 electronic records; handed over software and transferred the task of managing criminal records to the Provincial Police. Regarding nationality, the Department resolved 1 case of requesting to renounce nationality and confirmed Vietnamese nationality for 3 cases. In addition, the Department has provided guidance on secured transactions, supplemented foreign adoption records and suggested amendments to adoption documents. The Department has also handled a case of state compensation related to civil judgment enforcement.
