Participating in a major national event for the first time, Lieutenant Tran Thanh Thao confided: "This is not only an honor for me but also the pride of my family, teammates and unit."
Right from the beginning, female soldiers had to get used to the training schedule from 6:30 a.m. to almost noon and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day, alternating with rest and group activities until 9 p.m.
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Quang Thuan, the officer in charge of the female Special Forces unit, said: “The steps of the parade not only require regularity but also symbolize military discipline; the movements must be firm, uniform and carry an indomitable and proud spirit. The important thing is not only the individual movements and the smooth coordination of the entire unit, but each step of the female soldiers must demonstrate their bravery, will, faith and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people.”
