Quickly restore the route for rescue and relief services

The Ministry of Construction requires units to closely coordinate with localities to ensure people's safety, limit property damage and quickly restore traffic routes, especially routes serving rescue work.

This is one of the requirements in Official Dispatch No. 96/CD-BXD dated November 22 issued by the Ministry of Construction requesting its affiliated agencies and units, Vietnam Railway Corporation, Project Management Board 85, and the Departments of Construction of Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong provinces to focus on responding to and overcoming the consequences of exceptionally heavy rain and floods in the Central region, according to the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 225/CD-TTg dated November 20, 2025 on focusing on responding to and overcoming the consequences of exceptionally heavy rain and floods in the Central region.

The Ministry of Construction requires agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Prime Minister 's direction and promptly implement the Ministry of Construction's previous instructions and dispatches, proactively prevent and respond to the risks of landslides, flash floods, inundation; be ready with worst-case response plans, and not be passive or surprised.

At the same time, the Ministry of Construction requested the Vietnam Road Administration to direct relevant Road Management Areas and Departments of Construction to organize on-duty, traffic diversion, signboard installation, and barricades at flooded and landslide locations to ensure traffic safety; at the same time, establish a Working Group and mobilize experts to support overcoming the consequences of floods and storms, ensuring smooth traffic.

The Departments of Construction of the four localities of Gia Lai, Dak Lak , Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong proactively coordinated with the road management force and local authorities to review and inspect areas at risk of flooding and landslides; arrange vehicles and equipment to respond promptly, ensuring safety for people and vehicles. Project Management Board 85 focused on surveying, making plans and organizing construction to fix the incident at Mimosa Pass, opening the route as soon as possible.

The Department of Construction Infrastructure and the Department of Construction Investment Economics and Management are responsible for advising and guiding localities to inspect drainage systems, technical infrastructure works and construction sites; ensuring safety for people, equipment and construction items under construction, while monitoring developments in the construction materials market to proactively operate and manage prices.
