During the support period, VinaPhone customers in areas identified as flood-prone areas will receive 100 minutes of domestic/international calls and 15 GB of mobile internet data for use within 7 days. Customers in the affected areas will receive a direct support notification message from VinaPhone. This is an urgent solution to help people maintain contact with their families, grasp instructions from the government and monitor weather warnings as well as disaster response plans.

The unit also mobilizes all technical forces to ensure the network operates continuously 24/7 in harsh weather conditions. A team of engineers is on duty at the scene to quickly handle transmission problems, increase coverage in areas with high communication demand or deep flooding, and supplement power sources and backup equipment for broadcasting stations in the event of widespread power outages.

In parallel, VinaPhone organizes many direct support points for people at transaction stores and mobile support points. People can charge their phones for free, repair or replace SIM cards, check their devices, and restore connections in the shortest time. Mobile support points are flexibly arranged in areas with high population density or areas isolated by floodwaters, ensuring that people always have a stable source of communication.

Hotline 18001091 operates free of charge and continuously 24/7, increasing staff to receive and respond to all requests from customers. Thanks to that, the communication channel between people, local authorities and network operators is always maintained, contributing to rescue work as well as timely transmission of emergency information.

Previously, MobiFone donated 30,000 VND to KM3T account, used for domestic and international calls and texting services for 3 days. The program applies to customers who are roaming in the service area, helping to ensure that everyone can stay in touch with family and authorities when necessary.

Currently, the entire MobiFone system is maintaining 24/7 on-call mode, mobilizing maximum human resources and equipment, ready to respond to any arising situations. MobiFone is committed to accompanying the government and the community, ensuring smooth and safe communication, contributing to effectively supporting disaster prevention work in the Central region.
