According to the leader of Van Lang District People's Committee at the ceremony, since the COVID-19 epidemic broke out in the two countries, to prevent the disease from spreading across the border, entry and exit, import and export activities through the Na Hinh (Vietnam) - Keo Ai (China) border gate pair have been temporarily suspended from May 6, 2021 to present.
The restoration of customs clearance helps promote trade activities between the two sides, creating conditions for people in the border areas of the two countries to have more jobs and increase their income.
After receiving the notice of resuming customs clearance activities, relevant units of Vietnam have prepared forces and means for entry and exit, import and export activities through the border gate and informed businesses operating import and export activities through the area.
