This morning (April 27), on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023-2025 organized a State-level rehearsal of the military parade and march in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), with the participation of about 13,000 people.
In which, the military bloc of three countries China, Laos, Cambodia participated in the rehearsal.
The Honor Guard of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, after parading through the grandstand, reached the intersection of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and Le Loi streets and sang loudly: " As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory/ Uncle Ho's words have now become a glorious victory/ Thirty years of fighting to preserve the integrity of the country/ Thirty years of democratic republican resistance have been successful/ Vietnam Ho Chi Minh ... ". These are the lyrics of the song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory" by musician Pham Tuyen.
Vietnamese people standing on both sides of the road cheered, encouraged and sang along with the Chinese soldiers.


The Honor Guard of the People's Liberation Army was established in 1952, with the main task of providing ceremonial services to the Party, State and Army.
Over 73 years of establishment and growth, the troupe has successfully completed its ceremonial service mission more than 13,000 times, demonstrating the good image of the Chinese State and Army with its enthusiastic spirit and its uniform, beautiful, unified, and powerful team.
Two days before the rehearsal, 118 officers and soldiers of the delegation arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on a Y-20 military transport plane and participated in a preliminary rehearsal that same evening. Today was the second day the delegation participated in a practice session with other delegations.
