With rolls of wool, threads and colorful scraps of fabric, children at Ky Ha Kindergarten (Hai Ninh Ward) were able to unleash their creativity through the theme "Embroidery for Mom".
Under the teacher's enthusiastic guidance, all of them created funny and lovely pictures. This activity not only stimulates children's imagination, aesthetic ability and dexterity but also helps them to be more confident and bold in expressing themselves, contributing to nurturing their creativity and comprehensive development both physically and mentally.
It is known that in order to effectively carry out educational activities in a child-centered direction, in recent times, the school has focused on innovating teaching methods, while building a rich and friendly learning environment both inside and outside the classroom, helping children develop comprehensively.
Ms. Le Thi Thuy Linh - teacher of Ky Ha Kindergarten shared: “We have demonstrated the innovation in teaching methods by shifting from one-way teaching to an open activity organization, taking children as the main subject, teachers are only the ones who suggest, guide and support. Accordingly, in each lesson, we increase children's experience, exploration , practice, learning through play, through observation and group activities; flexibly use open tools and materials, encourage children to be creative, express their ideas in many different ways. Teachers also innovate the way of asking questions, the way of evaluating, focusing on observing children's behavior, attitudes, skills and interests during the participation in activities".

With the view that the educational environment is the “second teacher” that helps children form skills and develop comprehensively, recently, the movement to build child-centered schools in kindergartens has been focused on implementation. Along with the innovation of teaching methods, classroom space is arranged scientifically and flexibly according to each topic, helping children “learn while playing, play while learning”.
Every corridor, classroom corner, lobby or staircase becomes a creative corner for children to observe, explore and experience. The school yard is reasonably planned with a natural corner, an exercise corner, an outdoor creative corner, a fairy garden, a vegetable garden, a flower garden, etc. Each small corner is a "living lesson", helping children develop comprehensively in terms of capacity and qualities, nurturing confidence, creativity and social communication skills.

Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet - Principal of Thach Long Kindergarten (Thach Ha commune) shared: "On the basis of the existing campus, we build themed corners, expand outdoor space for children to experience reality, explore the world around them. In addition, teachers are encouraged to proactively design and adjust the classroom environment to suit each age group, maximizing creativity in teaching".
According to Ms. Duong Thi Hong Loan - specialist of the Department of Preschool Education - Student Affairs (Department of Education and Training), "The child-centered educational model has been making a deep impression in preschools in Ha Tinh. With the support of the education sector, the government and parents, each school truly becomes a "second home" for children - where they are loved, learn, create and develop comprehensively. At the same time, the quality of child care and education has also been significantly improved: the rate of underweight malnourished children is 1.42%, stunted children is 2.22%, while the rate of overweight and obese children is only 0.63%".

A child-centered environment is not only a place for learning and playing, but also a space for children to live, learn and experience. With the attention of the industry and local authorities, kindergartens in Ha Tinh have been affirming their position as schools that always put children at the center of all educational activities, aiming at the goal: "Every day at school is a happy day - each child shines in their own way".
