In recent days, when passing by the gate of Viet Thang Corporation on Le Van Chi Street, Linh Trung Ward (Thu Duc City), passersby and workers have seen two large billboards erected along both sides of the company gate. The billboard on the left has the words "Proud of the Vietnamese Nation" on top, and the one below has "50 years of celebrating the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day". Along with that is a picture of the national flag and a picture of a tank entering the Independence Palace. The billboard on the right also has similar words and pictures of intellectuals, citizens, and students congratulating the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
According to records, not only in Ho Chi Minh City, not only Viet Thang Corporation but also many other enterprises in the High-Tech Park, Linh Trung I Export Processing Zone, Tan Binh Industrial Park... many enterprises also hung banners enthusiastically welcoming the country's great holiday.
Similarly, at My Phuoc Industrial Park (Ben Cat City, Binh Duong ), many businesses also hung banners and signs right in front of their company gates with the slogan "Warm congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification". Among the businesses responding to the celebration, there were quite a few foreign-invested enterprises. Here, in addition to the congratulatory banners, there were also action slogans, expressing determination in labor and production.
For example, Sung Shin Solution VN Co., Ltd., next to the banner welcoming the ceremony, has the slogan "comply with regulations and safe working procedures to protect yourself, your family and your business". Colgate Palmolive Vietnam Co., Ltd. - My Phuoc Branch also hung 2 similar banners.
Similarly, in front of the gate of Kubota Vietnam Co., Ltd., there were many banners congratulating the great holiday such as: "The Great Victory of Spring 1975 - a heroic page in the great history of building and defending the country of our people", "The Great Victory of Spring 1975 - the strength of the will to unify the country and the desire for peace ", "Warmly welcome to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and reunification of the country"...
A representative of the Trade Union of a business here said that hanging a banner to celebrate the holiday is also an opportunity for businesses to show gratitude to Vietnam - where the business is located. At the same time, it is also a way to kindle national pride and enthusiasm for production among workers; helping workers to both work and participate in the common joy of the whole country: celebrating the April 30 holiday but not forgetting the task of production.
