Although the second-generation Kia Telluride has just been launched, digital renderings have quickly appeared to satisfy the imagination of fans. Among them, the "Black Edition" version made by YouTube channel AutoYa is attracting attention thanks to its impressive, futuristic and personality-filled design.

The new 2027 Kia Telluride is Kia's flagship 3-row SUV in the North American market, continuing the success of the first generation with sales increasing from 91,000 vehicles in 2024 to more than 101,000 vehicles in the first 10 months of 2025.

Entering the new generation, the car impresses with a more rugged design and a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine instead of the old V6. However, AutoYa has brought a new perspective to the 2027 Telluride with the Black Edition build with contrasting matte black details creating a strong, mysterious feeling.

The 2027 Kia Telluride Black Edition has large wheels, a square front end and sharp lines that make this 3-row SUV look like it came out of a futuristic action movie.

Not only the exterior, the interior of the build has also been redesigned with two options: the entire cabin is covered in luxurious black, or the details are personalized color. High-quality leather seats, dark decorative details and spacious space bring a feeling of luxury and sportiness at the same time.

Although just an unofficial build, the Telluride 2027 Black Edition project shows the strong design potential of Kia's SUV if the company develops a special version in the future.

Meanwhile, the commercial version of the 2027 Telluride will have two turbocharged 2.5L engine options: the standard version with 274 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque and the powerful hybrid version with 329 horsepower - shared with the 2026 Hyundai Palisade.

Kia hasn’t confirmed whether there will be an official Black Edition for the Telluride, but this rendering is clearly getting people excited for a truly bold variant. What do you think about Kia putting the Black Edition into production?

Currently, the second generation Kia Telluride is announced to be produced at the West Point factory, Georgia, USA and go on sale in the first quarter of 2026. The selling price of the 2027 Kia Telluride has not been officially announced.
