Implementing the direction of the General Department of Market Management, Nghe An Market Management Department on strengthening inspection and control of moon cakes and children's toys during the Mid-Autumn Festival 2023; Market Management Team No. 3 coordinated with the Economic Police Department of the Provincial Police to simultaneously inspect businesses selling cakes and candies for the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vinh City.
Through inspection, the authorities handled administrative violations and forced the destruction of all infringing goods with a total value of nearly 75 million VND.

Specifically, on September 18, 2023, the inspection team inspected the business establishment owned by Ms. Dang Thi Giang at Le Huan Street, Hong Son Ward, Vinh City. Through the inspection, the inspection team discovered that the business was selling 5,336 children's toys of unknown origin, without certificates of conformity and safety warnings as prescribed. Market Management Team No. 3 issued administrative penalties, forcing the destruction of all of the above goods with a total value of nearly 40 million VND in fines.

Previously, on September 14, 2023, Market Management Team No. 3 coordinated with the Economic Police Department - Nghe An Provincial Police to inspect and handle 02 establishments selling cakes and candies for the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vinh City because the goods did not have invoices and documents, and the origin was unknown; the total value of fines and destruction of violating goods was nearly 35 million VND.
Mr. Bui Van Chung - Market Management Team No. 3, Nghe An Market Management Department said: In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 3 will continue to closely follow the instructions of superiors, coordinate effectively with functional agencies, focus on checking poor quality goods, expired goods, goods of unknown origin that affect health, contribute to stabilizing the market, protecting consumer rights during the Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year.
