Kien Xuong: Strive for 90% or more of farmer members to register to achieve the title of good production and business

That is one of the goals set out at the Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Kien Xuong district for the 2023-2028 term held on June 12-13. Attending the Congress was comrade Vu Ngoc Tri, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

During the past term, the activities of farmers' associations at all levels in Kien Xuong district continued to be maintained in a disciplined and effective manner, closely following the professional tasks of the association and the local political tasks. Emulation movements and coordination programs continued to be innovated to ensure suitability and effectiveness, attracting a large number of cadres and farmer members to participate, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks and goals of socio-economic development of the district. Over the past 5 years, over 157,000 members have registered for the title of good farmers in production and business at all levels, accounting for 85% of the total number of farmer members; 78 economic development models were built; over 68.7 billion VND, over 25,000 working days, and more than 20,000 ^{square meters} of land were donated to build new rural areas and advanced new rural areas.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Integration - Development", in the new term, Kien Xuong District Farmers' Association strives to recruit 600 or more new members each year; 100% of grassroots association organizations complete their tasks well, of which 20% complete their tasks excellently; 90% or more of members register for the title of good farmers in production and business at all levels; 90% of member households register to build cultural families.

The Congress elected the new Executive Committee and elected delegates to attend the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

The new Executive Committee of the Kien Xuong District Farmers' Association was introduced at the Congress.

On this occasion, Kien Xuong District Farmers' Association was honored to receive the emulation flag of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Association for its excellent performance in the 2018 - 2023 term.
