The Department of Industry and Trade directs the provincial Market Management Department to strengthen food safety inspection activities in the market; review, detect and handle acts of trading in smuggled food products; production and trade of fake food, prohibited goods, goods of unknown origin... The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with local press agencies to manage content in interactive programs, promoting businesses to avoid violating regulations on food advertising, especially milk for young children, functional foods; not to publish advertisements for products without content assessment by competent authorities or advertisements that do not match the content confirmed by competent authorities. At the same time, propagate and advise consumers to be cautious with advertisements that exaggerate the effects of food... The provincial Police Department is requested to proactively coordinate, grasp the situation, promptly detect, investigate and handle violations and crimes related to food safety according to assigned functions and tasks.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct specialized departments and People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to regularly inspect and post-inspecte food safety for food establishments according to their management levels. Strengthen close supervision of the organization of seminars introducing functional foods according to the provisions of law. In particular, promote propaganda work so that people are cautious when buying food products advertised on electronic websites; products sold through street vendors at people's homes or at conferences and seminars introducing products without the supervision of local authorities.
