Disciplinary action against male principal accused of molesting and texting female teacher

On May 19, Mr. Trang Cong Cuong - Chairman of the People's Committee of An Phu district, An Giang province - confirmed to the press that he had issued a disciplinary warning to Mr. VTD, Principal of an elementary school in Quoc Thai commune, An Phu district; and is currently reviewing legal regulations.

According to the decision, Mr. D., in his role as Party cell secretary and principal of the primary school, in the process of management and operation, violated working procedures and regulations, and performed assigned duties and responsibilities; violated the principle of democratic centralism, leading to disunity in the unit; violated financial principles; violated regulations on ethics, civilized lifestyle, responsibility to set an example, and things that party members are not allowed to do.

At the same time, during the process of writing the self-criticism, Mr. D. has not yet accepted the appropriate form of discipline. Mr. D.'s violation is serious, causing bad public opinion among cadres, party members and parents of students, reducing the prestige of himself, the party organization and the education sector.

On the government side, a leader of the An Phu District People's Committee confirmed that they will take the next steps to handle the matter. It is expected that the disciplinary action of demotion and job transfer for Mr. D. will be announced as soon as possible.

As reported, many female teachers previously accused Mr. D. of molesting them at school and sending them sexually harassing messages such as "Sometimes I get depressed too", "I like looking at you. I love you so much" ... When he failed to achieve his goal, Mr. D. sent threatening and abusive messages.
