According to Mr. Tran Van Thi, the completion of the road surface structure has helped the expressway meet the standards for the phased operation, ensuring smoothness and high safety. After the asphalt was completely paved, people and transport businesses assessed the traffic quality as stable, vehicles moving more smoothly, saving fuel and time.

Lo Te – Rach Soi Expressway is a key route in the expressway network in the West of the Mekong Delta, with a length of 51.5 km, a total investment of about 750 billion VND, passing through Can Tho City and An Giang Province. The route is upgraded on the existing roadbed, without the need for site clearance, helping the construction process to be convenient and cost-saving.

According to the My Thuan Project Management Board, the unit is continuing to complete the traffic safety system according to expressway standards, adding signs, guardrails and signal paint to ensure stable and long-term exploitation. The project is expected to be completed and handed over in 2025, on schedule, creating conditions for the Southwest region to develop synchronous infrastructure, attract investment and form new growth poles along the An Giang coast.

After being put into operation synchronously, the expressway helps shorten the travel time between Can Tho City and Rach Gia City (formerly), while significantly reducing the load on National Highway 80. In addition to improving the efficiency of transporting goods and passengers, the route also contributes to expanding tourism , trade and agricultural product consumption connections between localities in the region.
