Accordingly, the Inspection Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline by reprimand the following: Mai Xuan Giang, Vice Chairman of Muong Lat District People's Committee; Lo Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information, former Head of the Departmentof Education and Training of Muong Lat District; Tong Minh Toi, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Lat District; Trinh Xuan Tam, Principal of Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; Vu Xuan Tung, specialist of the Department of Culture and Information, former specialist of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Lat District.
The Party cell of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Lat district was disciplined by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission with a reprimand.
Mr. Trieu Minh Xiet, Standing Deputy Secretary of Muong Lat District Party Committee, said: After the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission announced the decision to discipline the Party organization and Party members who violated the regulations on enrollment in Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee will direct the authorities to take disciplinary measures against the violating groups and individuals according to regulations.
Disciplinary measures for groups and individuals who violate the enrollment regulations at Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities will be completed and announced before the opening day of the new school year 2024-2025.
Previously, after the press reported on violations occurring at Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, the Chairman of Muong Lat District People's Committee established an inspection team to verify and clarify.
The results of the inspection and verification by the People's Committee of Muong Lat district confirmed that many children and grandchildren of department and school leaders and teachers were admitted to grade 6 at Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in violation of regulations, causing public outrage and affecting the regime and policies of the Party and State for children of ethnic minorities in extremely difficult areas.
