On June 27, 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued decisions announcing the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritages. Accordingly, Lai Chau province has 07 more intangible cultural heritages included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritages, including:

Decision No. 2169/QD-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025 Traditional festivals, religious practices - Then Kin Pang festival of Thai people in Lai Chau province .

Decision No. 2170/QD-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025 Folk knowledge - Folk knowledge about medical treatment of the Dao people (Phong Tho district, Tam Duong district, Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province) .

Decision No. 2171/QD-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025 Folk performing arts - Xoè art of the Ha Nhi people (Muong Te district, Nam Nhun district, Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province ).

Decision No. 2173/QD-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025 Social customs and beliefs - Cap Sac ceremony of the Dao Tuyen people (Phong Tho district, Tam Duong district, Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province).

Decision No. 2174/QD-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025 Folk knowledge - Cuisine of Thai people in Lai Chau province .

Decision No. 2175/QD-BVHTTDL dated June 27, 2025 Folk performing arts, Folk literature - Xa Nha Ca performance of the Ha Nhi people (Mu Ca commune, Ka Lang commune, Thu Lum commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province).

As of July 2025, Lai Chau province has 02 intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO as representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity and 11 intangible cultural heritages have been included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritages by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism .
