Lam Dong strives to open one-way D'ran Pass by November 30, 2025

On November 27, Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) continued to clear landslides, fallen trees and soil to temporarily repair the landslide section on D'ran Pass. The unit said it is expected to open to one-way traffic on November 30, 2025.

To stabilize and ensure long-term safety for the pass, Project Management Board 85 is focusing on assessing, surveying, designing and developing a solution as soon as possible. Experts from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology have arrived at the scene, surveyed some cracks and landslides to help find appropriate solutions.

According to statistics from the Provincial People's Committee, during the storm from November 16 to November 26, the whole province recorded over 266 landslides and land subsidence points, affecting people's houses and disrupting traffic in many flooded and isolated areas.

In particular, 5 national highways (20, 27, 28, 27C, 14C), the main route of Prenn Pass, 3 provincial roads (DT.725, DT.714, DT.729) and 2 main routes managed by the locality were all eroded and severely damaged by storms and rains.

Lam Dong Department of Construction has proposed the Provincial People's Committee to consider and allocate about 361 billion VND to repair damage on key roads managed by the Department.
