On August 16, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Lam Dong Provincial Police organized the destruction of weapons, explosives, support tools and firecrackers handed over by people recently.

Attending the event were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang Khoa, Head of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Lam Dong Provincial Police , Chairman of the Destruction Council; representatives of relevant departments, branches and local police forces.

According to the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Lam Dong Provincial Police, in the first 6 months of 2025, the police of units and localities in the province organized 910 propaganda sessions attracting more than 56,500 participants, along with 53 propaganda broadcasts.

Through the campaign to collect weapons and explosives, the whole province collected thousands of weapons, explosives, support tools, and rudimentary weapons.

Through the campaign to collect weapons and explosives, the province collected 489 guns of various types, 1,717 bullets, 19 detonators, 91 support tools and 1,537 primitive weapons; more than 7,000 individuals and households signed a commitment to participate in the campaign, demonstrating the community's high sense of responsibility.

The Council destroyed 359 support tools, 1,225 homemade guns, 2,125 primitive weapons, 97 weapon components, 4,000 bullets, 30 detonators, 50 dangerous games and 15 boxes of fireworks.

The destruction process is carried out strictly, in accordance with procedures and regulations, under close supervision of the police force and authorities.

The Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Lam Dong Provincial Police, calls on people, organizations and businesses to continue responding to the campaign, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.

At the same time, Lam Dong Provincial Police also called on people to continue to actively participate in handing over weapons, explosives and supporting tools; coordinate with functional agencies in crime prevention and combat.
