The two valedictorians are Nguyen The An, majoring in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, School of Information and Communications Technology, and Tran Trung Hieu, majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
To achieve this perfect score, students must score 8.5 or higher on a scale of 10 in all subjects. In addition to good academic results, these two students both participated in scientific research and had excellent training scores, 91 and 98/100 points respectively.

Representing the students at the graduation ceremony, Nguyen The An said that after the ceremony, the new graduates and engineers have become adults, there will no longer be exercises and tests, but instead there will be jobs and projects that have an impact on many people.
Accordingly, each person should use the knowledge and experience they have learned to face new challenges and contribute to making the school's name known in the world 's progress.
Excellent academic and training results at Hanoi University of Science and Technology contributed to Tran Trung Hieu winning a full scholarship for the integrated Master - Doctorate program (PhD Track) on embedded artificial intelligence for cybersecurity at the Polytechnic Institute of Paris. This is the leading school in France, ranked 46th in the world according to the QS University Rankings 2025.
Currently, Nguyen The An is an engineer at the Artificial Intelligence Center, FPT Software Company (FPT Software AI Center) and has about two years of research there, before applying for a scholarship to study abroad for a PhD.
During two days (September 28-29), 4,337 students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology attended the graduation ceremony, of which 1,847 students received engineering degrees and 2,490 students received bachelor's degrees.
In terms of classification, the school has 443 students with excellent graduation rank, 1,362 students with good graduation rank and 2,373 students with fair graduation rank.
