Gasoline and oil prices are adjusted down

HNN.VN - From 3 p.m. today (October 23), petroleum businesses have simultaneously adjusted the retail prices of petroleum products down, following the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance. Thus, domestic gasoline prices have turned to decrease after increasing last week.

Gasoline and diesel prices were adjusted downwards from 3 PM on October 23rd.

Specifically, compared to the previous price adjustment, the price of RON 95 gasoline (level 3, the most common type on the market) was reduced by 177 VND/liter today, with the selling price not exceeding 19,726 VND/liter. Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 176 VND/liter, with the selling price not exceeding 19,050 VND/liter.

The price of 0.05S diesel fuel has been adjusted down by 538 VND/liter compared to the current base price, with the selling price not exceeding 17,885 VND/liter. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene will not exceed 18,115 VND/liter, a decrease of 291 VND/liter compared to the current base price. The price of fuel oil (mazut) will not exceed 14,098 VND/kg, a decrease of 273 VND/kg compared to the current base price.

Similar to previous price adjustments, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided not to use the fuel price stabilization fund in today's price adjustment.

Last week, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution on environmental protection tax rates. Accordingly, until the end of next year, the environmental protection tax on gasoline (excluding ethanol) will remain at 2,000 VND/liter; diesel, fuel oil, and lubricating oil at 1,000 VND/liter. Lubricating grease will be 1,000 VND/kg, and kerosene at 600 VND/liter. These rates will remain the same as in 2025.
