Encourage social insurance recipients to use cashless payment methods

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, units, and localities to coordinate in developing non-cash payments (TTKDTM) in the payment of pensions, social insurance (SI) benefits, and unemployment benefits.

Accordingly, the provincial Social Insurance will develop plans and solutions to mobilize and encourage recipients of social insurance and unemployment benefits through e-commerce payment methods in 2025 to meet the targets assigned by Vietnam Social Insurance; coordinate propaganda, mobilization, and encourage recipients of pensions, social insurance and unemployment benefits through e-commerce payment methods; coordinate with banks in the province to guide, create favorable conditions, and have preferential mechanisms to encourage recipients of pensions, social insurance and unemployment benefits to receive money through personal accounts.

The Department of Home Affairs directed the Dak Lak Employment Service Center to strengthen propaganda, guidance, and support for beneficiaries to receive unemployment benefits through personal accounts.

The State Bank of Region 11 encourages banks to implement support policies and incentives on payment service fees for pensioners, social insurance beneficiaries, and unemployment beneficiaries when opening and using bank accounts; continues to direct banks in the province to increase investment in infrastructure, arrange a reasonable and effective network of automatic teller machines (ATMs) to facilitate people's access to e-commerce services, especially in rural areas, remote areas, etc.

The provincial post office guides pension and social insurance beneficiaries to change the form of receipt from cash to e-commerce; creates favorable conditions for banks to access payment points to encourage pension and social insurance beneficiaries to open accounts and register to receive pension and social insurance benefits through personal accounts under the supervision of the social insurance agency.

The People's Committees of communes and wards shall step up propaganda and widely disseminate the policies of the Government and the Provincial People's Committee on promoting the payment of pensions, social insurance benefits, and unemployment benefits through e-commerce payment methods; focus on propagating the effectiveness and benefits of cashless payments...
