This is a cultural event of profound significance, contributing to raising awareness of all levels, sectors and the whole society about the role and position of the family in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, and at the same time, it is an opportunity for localities to exchange and share experiences, aiming to build Vietnamese families to develop sustainably in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration. Vietnam Family Day 2025 is organized with general exhibition areas and specialized exhibitions.
The highlight of the event is the exhibition area “President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders care about building and developing Vietnamese families”. The exhibition area introduces valuable images and documents about visiting and encouraging typical families; images of Party and State leaders in the work of caring for and building families; and important resolutions and instructions of the Party on family work.
In addition, the exhibition area “Family culture in the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups” brings to the public vivid images and artifacts about family customs, rituals and beliefs in the lives of ethnic groups in Vietnam. In particular, the exhibition emphasizes the role of the family in preserving traditional crafts, developing household economy , nurturing generations and building moral foundations and lifestyles.
The exhibition “Family culture of the ethnic communities in the Central Highlands” is also a special highlight introducing the unique beauty of culture, life, customs, beliefs, etc. The exhibition space “Loving family” gathers everyday moments captured through the lens of photographers. The simple but touching photos depict the bond between generations in a Vietnamese family, thereby affirming that the family is not only a cell of society but also a cradle that nurtures the personality, morality and love of Vietnamese people.
Accompanying the program are exhibitions of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the provinces and cities: Son La, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Dak Lak... Each exhibition booth is a vivid story about the family culture typical of each region. Through images, artifacts, charts, documentary clips... the localities introduce achievements in family work, child care, women protection, poverty reduction, economic development, domestic violence prevention and pilot implementation of the "Family Behavior Criteria".
Not only stopping at cultural exhibitions, Vietnam Family Day 2025 also brings the public the opportunity to explore unique products and cuisine from regions such as coffee, cocoa, pepper, rice wine, bamboo rice, coffee flower honey, Tu Le sticky rice, Suoi Giang Shan Tuyet tea, Muong Lo Seng rice, Thanh Lan sour sausage...
In particular, the "Festival to introduce, display and sell products, stimulate shopping in 2025" gathered nearly 200 booths of units, businesses, and associations from all provinces and cities, introducing essential consumer goods for families, high-quality agricultural products, handicrafts and standard OCOP products.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also introduced the space "Family reading - Connecting love" with many good books for children, students, families, contributing to encouraging reading culture in the family, building a knowledge foundation and bonding between generations.
Contributing to the appeal of this year’s Vietnamese Family Day are also unique cultural and artistic exchange programs, imbued with the breath of life and colors of regions across the country. The series of programs includes: meetings with typical families with the theme “Keeping the Fire of Happiness”, the art program “Family Joy”, “The Fragrance of the Highlands” and the Gala “Happy Dance”, promising to bring rich experiences, spread the value of love and connect the community.
Main activities:
June 25 (19:30): Opening of Vietnam Family Day 2025.
June 26 (7:30 p.m.): Meeting with typical faces of "Keeping the Fire of Happiness".
June 27 (7:30 p.m.): Art exchange "Family joy".
June 28 (7:30 p.m.): Mass art exchange program "Fragrance and colors of the highlands".
June 29 (7:30 p.m.): Closing ceremony and "Happy Dance" Gala.
