Students shared their opinions and suggestions for building a happy school, expressed their wishes for changes from teachers (teaching methods, caring, listening to students...) and their dreams, thoughts at the age of 18, and career orientation after graduating from high school.

This is the time for teachers to “listen to students” and understand them better. I would like to share “what I want to say” from the students I am directly teaching.

It is a difficult and arduous journey. But I believe that when I turn 18 and graduate from high school, a brighter future will open up for me with many paths to choose from. I will choose the university path because this is the luggage to decide who I will be when entering life. Graduating from high school and holding a university diploma in hand will be proof of a 16-year journey of studying to find a stable job. But to get it, we have to go through difficult and challenging days. We have to try our best, study in the best way to get the desired results.

In grade 12, I felt that there were too few classes for important subjects, causing students to have difficulty and confusion. Sometimes, after finishing a new lesson, they had to move on to another lesson to catch up with the program. Students were overwhelmed with math subjects because there were many types of exercises and teachers did not have enough time to teach them all. Therefore, I hope the school can add more classes to solve exercises. In addition, I really liked the mindfulness meditation class in grade 10. This year, I feel that mindfulness activities are really necessary to release negative energy. I hope the school can maintain mindfulness activities in the new year.

Building a happy school is a very necessary task for any school. Through many different forms such as: discussion, expressing thoughts or writing something with your heart on paper, drawing pictures... will contribute to the connection and closeness between students and teachers. Teachers should put themselves in the students' shoes, understand the students' psychology better to avoid negative states for students. This will make students love teachers more, teachers and students happier.
