Lang Son participates in "Moving forward with Vietnam"

On the morning of August 16, in the area of Hung Vuong Street, Luong Van Tri Ward, about 7,000 people in Lang Son province participated in the walking event "Moving forward with Vietnam". The program was carried out simultaneously in 65 communes and wards throughout the province.

The walking event "Moving forward with Vietnam" at the main point of Lang Son province was held in the area of Hung Vuong street, Luong Van Tri ward.

Attending at the main bridge of Lang Son province were comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council of Lang Son province, leaders of departments, branches, organizations and more than 7,000 people in the area.

Leaders of the People's Council and People's Committee of Lang Son province attended the program.

In addition to the main point, 64 other communes and wards in the whole province also simultaneously implemented the program.

People from all walks of life in Lang Son province actively participated in the program from early morning.

Participating in the event, delegates and people were able to watch the national flag raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square online, directly perform the flag salute ceremony, sing the national anthem and watch a video introducing the overall activity "Moving Forward with Vietnam".

Implementing Plan No. 235-KHPH/BND-BCA, dated July 9, 2025 of Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security on coordinating the organization of the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam", including organizing a walking event with the goal of one hour - one billion steps - 200,000 participants, to promote the spirit of patriotism, solidarity and development aspirations of the Vietnamese people, spread confidence, pride and strong will to rise up in the whole society, encourage the movement of the whole people to participate in sports training, respond to the campaign "The whole people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"

After the launching command from Hanoi capital, the provincial leaders and people of Lang Son province began walking in response to the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam".

At the same time, the program is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

People of all ethnic groups in Lang Son province responded to the activities in all 65 communes and wards of the province.

The walking event in Lang Son took place from 5:30 a.m. and lasted until 7:30 a.m., with a route of about 2km from Hung Vuong Street to several other main roads in Luong Van Tri Ward and Dong Kinh Ward, Lang Son Province.

The event demonstrated the patriotism of the people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son province and the whole country, promoting the spirit of physical education and sports, fostering the will to rise up for a united, strong Vietnam, ready to step into a new era.
