Reporting at the meeting, comrade Vuong Thanh Lieu, Chairman of Binh Tien Ward People's Committee, said that the locality has quickly completed the organization, stabilized the apparatus, ensured smooth operation and effectively served the people.
The Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council has prepared many important contents for the 2nd session of the provisional People's Council of Binh Tien Ward, term 2021-2026 (held on the morning of July 29).
The Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward to organize a meeting with voters before this second session. Thereby, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of voters, at the same time, giving timely instructions on handling issues related to infrastructure, social protection, health insurance, etc.
Binh Tien Ward Public Administration Service Center has 8 counters with full equipment to serve the needs of the people. Each counter is equipped with a camera system to record video and audio to record the process of serving the people by civil servants.
The ward is also researching AI cameras to record people's facial expressions to provide better and more timely service. The center is also equipped with a system to receive and return administrative procedure results 24/7.
From July 1st to now, the center has received 7,278 visits for work, through which it has received 4,567 records, and there have been no records with late results.
During the survey, the ward also had some proposals and recommendations. Among them, it was recommended that the Central Government and the city consider adding 1 more deputy in specialized agencies under the ward People's Committee.
Currently, a specialized agency is assigned to be in charge of many important local areas, so it is necessary to have leaders with expertise to be in charge of each area and within a 5-year period, it will be reorganized and streamlined according to general regulations.
The ward also recommended strengthening training for officials and civil servants when approaching new jobs.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong acknowledged and commended the positive results that Binh Tien ward has achieved.
He hopes that this will be the foundation and motivation for the ward leaders to continue to promote effective leadership, overcome difficulties, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous local political system.
Comrade Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong suggested that Binh Tien ward continue to promote the application of information technology, digital transformation... to better serve people and businesses.
The Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Council also noted that it is necessary to promote the effectiveness of non-professional staff in implementing tasks. At the same time, the role of volunteers in supporting the settlement of administrative procedures at the Ward Public Administration Service Center should be promoted. This is a force that is operating very effectively.
Faced with these challenges, the ward staff and civil servants need to strengthen their research, regularly update new legal regulations, and proactively exchange and learn from local experiences. In order to improve the quality of work and the effectiveness of task implementation.
The Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Council also requested relevant departments and branches of the city to pay attention to supporting and promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles that the ward is facing. At the same time, research and organize specialized training sessions, especially for procedures related to land.
