On the morning of August 15, a delegation of the Central Bank for Social Policies (CBSP) led by Mr. Huynh Van Thuan - Deputy General Director of CBSP, inspected the operations at the Tra Vinh CBSP Transaction Office and conducted a field survey at the Long Duc Ward transaction point.

After the two-level local government came into operation, the Director of the Social Policy Bank Transaction Office worked with local Party committees and authorities to deploy policy credit, ensuring smooth operations. The People's Committees of the wards arranged and publicized transaction points, maintained transaction schedules, and ensured working conditions, security and safety of assets and people.
As of July 31, the total policy credit capital reached VND 296,887 million, an increase of VND 31,009 million compared to the beginning of the year, equivalent to 11.7%. In July 2025, the loan turnover reached VND 3,310 million, accumulated from the beginning of the year VND 62,830 million, serving 1,545 poor households and policy beneficiaries. Debt collection turnover in July reached VND 4,126 million, accumulated from the beginning of the year VND 45,133 million. The total outstanding debt is currently VND 295,324 million, an increase of VND 36,294 million (14%) compared to the beginning of the year, with 8,103 households still in debt.
Entrustment activities continue to be maintained effectively. As of July 31, there were 203 savings and loan groups in operation, with total outstanding loans entrusted through socio-political organizations reaching VND281,191 million, accounting for 95%. The transaction office has signed entrustment contracts with 12 socio-political organizations in the wards to manage credit capital.
At the Long Duc ward transaction point, as of July 1, the total outstanding credit balance reached VND91,340 million with 2,533 customers, with overdue debt of 0.11%. Associations and unions receive and hand over, manage records, handle debts and maintain stable operations of savings and loan groups.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Thuan - Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, praised the results of the Tra Vinh Transaction Office, especially in ensuring smooth operations after the merger. The delegation highly appreciated the efforts to implement preferential credit programs, expand capital for poor households, near-poor households and policy beneficiaries, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and local socio -economic development.
He suggested that in the coming time, the transaction office should urgently improve the organization of the trust network, improve credit quality, strengthen inspection and control in professional management and loan supervision. Closely coordinate with localities and mass organizations to improve the effectiveness of policy credit in the area.
