Da Nang city leaders give medical support to mountainous localities

DNO - On the morning of November 25, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi and her delegation visited and presented medical support to the North Tra My and South Tra My Regional Medical Centers.

At the program, the City People's Committee awarded each center 100 million VND to support the purchase of medical supplies, medicines and essential equipment to serve the examination and treatment of people in mountainous areas. This funding source was sponsored by MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Speaking at the support handover ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that the city always pays attention to mountainous localities, especially in the period of overcoming the consequences of floods.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested medical units to effectively use support resources, prioritizing the needs of medical examination and treatment for ethnic minorities in the locality. At the same time, he hoped that the local government would continue to accompany and promptly grasp difficulties to work with the city to resolve and support people to stabilize their lives.

Leaders of medical centers and local authorities expressed their gratitude for the city leaders' timely attention to health care, giving more motivation for doctors and nurses in the highlands to stay firmly in their villages and take care of people's health.
