Joining the delegation were representatives of the Department of Health , the Ho Chi Minh City Association of the Elderly, leaders of Thu Duc City and representatives of a number of departments and professional offices of the Ho Chi Minh City Police.
The delegation visited and wished longevity to Mr. Ha Van Hien (90 years old, residing on Street 10, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward). He is a 3/4 disabled veteran who participated in the resistance war and was exposed to toxic chemicals. His wife is also a 3/4 disabled veteran who participated in the resistance war.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Major General Mai Hoang sent his warm regards, respectfully acknowledged and deeply expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the old man and his family to the country's revolutionary cause. On behalf of the city's leaders, Major General Mai Hoang wished the old man good health and longevity, continuing to be a valuable spiritual support for his descendants. At the same time, he continued to follow and support the policies and guidelines of the Party and State for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

At the private home of Mrs. Le Thi Ty (90 years old, living on Street 48, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward), who contributed to the revolution and was once imprisoned by the enemy. Major General Mai Hoang shared that today's young generation always respects and is grateful for the sacrifices, contributions and dedication of the elderly, especially those who contributed to the revolution.
Ho Chi Minh City also always pays special attention to the elderly, implementing the policy of "Repaying gratitude" to take better care of the elderly.

On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Elderly (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2025), Major General Mai Hoang respectfully wishes Mrs. Le Thi Ty good health, longevity, and a happy and healthy life with her children and grandchildren.
