Lao Cai: More than 80% of people have received Independence Day gifts

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Lao Cai province has implemented drastically and synchronously so that the gift giving takes place quickly and promptly to the people, bringing complete joy.

People are excited to receive Independence Day gifts.

In order for gifts to reach people in a timely manner and to the right recipients, the staff, civil servants of communes, wards, and police forces in Lao Cai province worked continuously throughout the holiday, closely coordinating with village chiefs, neighborhood leaders, and grassroots front work committees to ensure the gift giving was carried out safely.

According to statistics, 1,753,885 people in Lao Cai province received gifts, with a total payment of more than 175 billion VND.

In Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai province, units worked continuously from morning to 9 pm to give gifts to people.

With a sense of urgency and high responsibility, up to now, Lao Cai province has completed giving gifts to more than 80% of the people; in which some localities have basically completed the payment.

Lao Cai province strives to complete giving gifts to all people by September 2, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people on the occasion of National Day September 2.
