The leader of the City Labor Federation chaired the discussion session on the draft political report.

The third draft political report was completed on the basis of absorbing the orientations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the policies of the Party and State on building the working class and trade union organizations in the new situation; closely following Resolution 02-NQ/TW and the Resolution of the 17th Hue City Party Congress.

At the conference, delegates focused on giving comments on the structure and key directions of the draft, including: assessing the implementation results of the Resolution of the 15th Congress of the City Trade Union for the period 2023 - 2025; forecasting the context affecting the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers; proposing goals, directions, tasks and solutions for the term 2025 - 2030.

The draft sets out 10 main targets and 3 breakthroughs, emphasizing the requirements for innovation and digital transformation application; improving the quality of representation, care, and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in non-state enterprises; promoting dialogue and collective bargaining, especially on wages, income, and working conditions.

The opinions at the conference were accepted by the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation to continue perfecting the documents, ensuring that the political report submitted to the 16th Congress is concise, substantive, accurately reflecting the situation of workers, civil servants, laborers and the development requirements of the Trade Union organization in the new period.
