Regarding the Summary Conference and Closing Ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, the People's Committee of Hue City has directed and assigned the Hue City Department of Tourism to be the focal point, working with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to unify related contents. Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh shared that Hue is honored to be the locality to host the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025. The activities organized in 2025 were successfully held with the participation of relevant ministries, departments, branches and localities, thereby contributing to the development of Hue tourism industry.
There are more than 3 weeks left until the Closing Ceremony. In addition to urgently completing tasks and activities according to plan, communication and information work about the Closing Ceremony and sideline activities will continue to be widely promoted. In particular, the Hue Concert 2025 program is expected to create an effect for the closing night, providing delegates, people and tourists with a place to have fun, entertain and check-in. At the same time, Hue city also coordinates with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to inform travel agencies to organize tours for tourists to participate in activities during the Closing Week of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong assessed that the National Tourism Year event is not only a brand but also an important "push" to help the locality hosting the event have the opportunity to promote tourism development. Recognizing that event communication is a particularly important task, Deputy Minister Ho An Phong requested relevant media units to strengthen the promotion of National Tourism Year 2025 and related activities; units under the Ministry need to coordinate closely, unify information, and deploy early and timely propaganda to spread the event brand nationwide. Regarding the content of art programs and music festivals, the Deputy Minister noted the need to invite prestigious artists and singers, and at the same time build performances imbued with the cultural values and heritage of the ancient capital to create a distinct highlight for Hue compared to other tourist centers.
The Vietnam National Tourism Administration will coordinate with the Hue City Department of Tourism to promptly complete the summary report of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 to submit to the Ministry's leaders to report to the Prime Minister. Hue is currently a bright spot in green and sustainable tourism, possessing a system of typical products such as heritage, culture, nature, resorts and cuisine. Deputy Minister Ho An Phong suggested that Hue continue to focus resources on improving service quality, aiming to develop high-quality tourism products.
