Field survey inspection team

The working group directly inspected the actual survey results at a number of routes and landmarks in the communes of A Luoi 2 and A Luoi 3, Hue city; at the same time, inspected the technical documents and records of the bid package carried out by Truong Son Consulting Joint Stock Company. The inspection results showed that the survey work was carried out seriously, in accordance with technical procedures, ensuring quality and progress according to the contract and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense .

At the conference to accept the completion of the survey and implementation of the border patrol road project in Hue city (held at the Defense Command of Area 2 - A Luoi, Hue City Military Command), representatives of the survey contractor and the supervision consultant (VINACO Traffic Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company) reported in detail the results of the implementation of the bidding package, clearly stating the difficulties and problems in the implementation process, and at the same time proposed a number of technical solutions to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the project in the next phase.

Representatives of the relevant contractors have conducted cadastral mapping, forest conversion, and environmental impact assessment reports for the project. Leaders of A Luoi 2 and A Luoi 3 communes gave their opinions, emphasizing environmental factors, forest exploitation by people with appropriate compensation plans, stabilizing people's lives, ensuring security and order in border areas and creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development.

Colonel Pham Van Dung affirmed that the Border Patrol Road project in Hue city is of special importance in consolidating the national defense posture, effectively serving the management and protection of national sovereignty and border security, and combining economic and social development in border areas. Despite the harsh weather conditions and complex terrain, the participating forces, especially the survey unit, the consulting and supervision unit and the Project Management Board, have upheld their sense of responsibility, proactively overcome difficulties, and carried out their work seriously and scientifically, ensuring quality and progress according to regulations.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region acknowledged the close and effective coordination of the local Party Committee, authorities, the Defense Command of Area 2 - A Luoi and the Quang Nham Border Guard Stations, the Hue City Border Guard Command in creating favorable conditions for the consulting units to complete their tasks. Colonel Pham Van Dung requested the survey contractor to continue surveying, completing the dossier, clearly assessing and providing data on the project's impact on land, forests and the environment to the commune authorities. The Hue City Military Command closely coordinated with the locality, did a good job of propaganda and mobilization of the people, ensuring that the project would be implemented smoothly and on schedule.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited, encouraged and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of some Quang Nham Border Guard stations on the border of Hue city and the Defense Command of Region 2 - A Luoi, Hue city and inspected the construction progress of some training and combat readiness facilities of the Hue City Military Command.
