The first screening (afternoon of November 28) was held for revolutionary veterans, people with revolutionary contributions, armed forces of the People's Army and People's Police; along with many retired cadres living in the area and the people. This is also an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have contributed to the revolutionary cause of the nation and the development of the homeland and country.

After the screening on the afternoon of November 28, there will be two more screenings on the morning and afternoon of November 30 for teachers, students of local schools and the public. The total number of viewers for the three screenings is expected to be around 2,000.

The film “Red Rain” is an excellent film about the revolutionary war, produced by the People’s Army Cinema, directed by Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen. The film has profound human values, recreating the indomitable will and heroic sacrifice of the “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” during 81 days and nights of steadfast fighting to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972 through the lens of modern cinema, rich in emotions and profound in thought.

The film, released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, not only created a great artistic resonance but also set a record for the highest box office revenue in the history of Vietnamese cinema.

The film screening in Phu Loc commune took place in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, contributing to reminding the historical values and fostering revolutionary traditions for local cadres, party members and people.
