Memorial Ceremony to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the death of Doan Van Cu and 16 soldiers

On May 5, the Board of Trustees of the Temple of Doan Van Cu and 16 Volunteers (Tam Hiep Ward, Bien Hoa City) held a Memorial Service to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the death of Doan Van Cu and 16 Volunteers (1905-2025).

During the death anniversary, the Temple of the Gods worshiped the royal decree at the mausoleum of Doan Van Cu and 16 soldiers (Long Binh ward), and paraded them on Doan Van Cu street, Tam Hiep ward. After that, they performed the incense offering, flower offering and ancestor worship rituals on the altar of Doan Van Cu and 16 soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the war against the French colonialists.

Along with the death anniversary, every year, the Doan Van Cu Temple's Board of Trustees and 16 soldiers also organize a ky yen ceremony on the 11th and 12th of the 11th lunar month. This activity shows deep gratitude and appreciation for the merits of our ancestors andeducates the revolutionary tradition to the younger generation.
