Schedule for preliminary and general rehearsal of the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2

(VTC News) - To prepare for the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2, there will be a preliminary parade rehearsal on August 27 (reserve August 28); a general rehearsal on August 30 (reserve August 31).

According to the Project on organizing military parades and marches in the celebration, military parades and marches of the Ministry of National Defense , the celebration, military parade and marches for the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets of Hanoi.

To prepare carefully for the celebration and parade activities, the preliminary rehearsal will be held at 9:00 p.m. on August 27 (reserve for August 28); the general rehearsal will be held at 7:00 a.m. on August 30 (reserve for August 31).

Equipment at the second training session, preparing for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (mission A80).

Specific program of the September 2nd Celebration, Parade, and March:

6:30: Traditional torch procession.

6:45: Flag salute ceremony.

6:50: Statement of reasons, introduction of delegates.

7:05: Speeches of Party and State leaders.

From 7:45: Parade program.

9:45 to 10:00: The art performance ends.

The expected attendance at the ceremony is about 30,000 people, not including the parade and marching forces.

This parade formation has 18 standing groups and 43 walking groups, including 7 female Army groups (female Military Music Group, Military Medicine Group, Vietnam Peacekeeping Group, Special Forces Group, Information Group, Vietnam Ethnic Militia Group, Southern Guerrillas) and 2 female Police groups (female Traffic Police Group, Special Forces Group).

In addition to the military branches parading on the ground, the Army also has tanks, submarines, and naval surface ships parading.
