- From May 24 to May 28, complete editing of candidate information (if any); hand over the list of candidates registering for the exam and the Exam Registration Form or Exam Registration file (for independent candidates) to the Department of Education and Training.

- By May 31 at the latest, the units registering for the exam will receive the High School Graduation Recognition Registration Form and accompanying documents.

- From June 1 to June 6, the units registering for the exam will enter and review graduation recognition data and candidate priority data into the Exam Management system; print candidate information from the Exam Management system, and have students review and sign for confirmation.

- By June 7 at the latest, publicly announce cases of candidates who are not eligible to take the exam.

- By June 11 at the latest, the Examination Councils will number the candidates and arrange examination rooms according to each exam/subject at the examination sites.

- By June 18 at the latest, the registration units will print documents for the exam organization and return the Exam Registration Form to the candidates.

- From June 27 to June 29, the 2024 high school graduation exam will be held.

- No later than 5:00 p.m. on July 14, the provincial Steering Committees and Examination Councils will organize the marking of exams, summarize the marking work, send exam result data to the Ministry of Education and Training, and compare exam results.

- 8:00 a.m. on July 17, the Examination Councils announced the exam results.

- No later than July 19, the Departments of Education and Training will consider recognizing high school graduation.

- By July 21 at the latest, the Departments of Education and Training will update the Examination Management System, send reports on the results of the high school graduation recognition to the Ministry of Education and Training, and announce the high school graduation results.

- No later than July 23, the Principal of the high school shall issue a temporary graduation certificate; return the transcript and other relevant certificates (originals) to the candidates. The examination councils shall print and send the certificate of exam results to the candidates.

- From July 17 to July 26, the units registering for the exam will receive appeal applications and make a list of appeals.

- By August 4 at the latest, the Examination Councils will organize a review of the exam papers (if any).

- No later than August 9, the Departments of Education and Training will consider recognizing high school graduation after review.

- By August 15 at the latest, the Departments of Education and Training will send the list of candidates recognized as high school graduates to the Ministry of Education and Training.
