Professor Tran Thanh Van (the initiator of the "Meeting Vietnam" event in 1993) said that this year due to health reasons, Professor Odon Vallet could not be present to present the scholarship and delegated it to Dr. Espéran Padonou.

Professor Tran Thanh Van shared that this year is a very special year for education and science in our country. General Secretary To Lam has initiated a revolution of innovative thinking, placing science and education as the practical foundation for the country's development, so that Vietnam becomes a country that strongly invests in and develops science and education.
Thanks to that, the young generation of scientists can continue their research in their homeland, attract Vietnamese talents abroad to return, as well as invite the world's leading scientists to Vietnam to train and contribute to the development of science in their homeland.
