Vietnam volleyball team determined to create surprise against Qatar
Qatar team (ranked 23rd in the world ) has a strong force, notably with hitters like Raimi, Ibrahim, Oughlaf who have effective attacking ability. In addition, this team also has advantages in physique, strength and uniformity in positions, so it is considered superior to the Vietnam men's volleyball team (ranked 55th in the world).
The Vietnamese men's volleyball team was tempered at the 2025 AVC Nations Cup when facing many strong opponents.

Competing with the "underdog" mentality helps the Vietnamese players feel comfortable, ready to give their all. Nguyen Ngoc Thuan and Nguyen Van Quoc Duy are two hitters who have shown their abilities when facing strong opponents. In the match against Korea in the group stage, Ngoc Thuan and Quoc Duy had moments of confident play, putting pressure on their opponents right from the serve and scoring very encouraging scores. Quan Trong Nghia, Tran Duy Tuyen, and Truong The Khai are also expected to promote their professional strengths in addition to their spirit to help the Vietnamese team create a surprise for the Qatar team.
