Outstanding works depicting the country, life, people... in the 2022 tourism promotion photo contest "Shining Vietnam - Amazing Vietnam".
Surpassing 13,200 photos by more than 1,000 authors from 63 provinces and cities across the country, the photo "Saigon Night" by Nguyen Dang Viet Cuong won first prize. The photographer from Ho Chi Minh City said he took this photo on National Day, September 2, after COVID-19, when the city was no longer socially distanced and life gradually became more dynamic. "Ho Chi Minh City is most beautiful at night, when night falls, the lights from the high-rise buildings begin to light up, the city changes its appearance completely, more dynamic, more sparkling, more vibrant," he said. Photo: Provided by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Third prize went to the work “New Rice Festival in Thai Hai Stilt House Village” by author Bui Khac Thien, from Thai Nguyen. New Rice Festival, also known as New Rice Festival, is an occasion for the Tay ethnic people to thank heaven and earth for favorable weather, bountiful crops, and peace for every family. The Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Conservation Area (Thai Nguyen) was honored by the World Tourism Organization in the top 32 best tourist villages in the world in 2022. The golden season of Tam Coc usually occurs at the end of May, when visitors from all over the world come to this tourist area to enjoy the scenery on the Ngo Dong River, Hoa Lu District, and admire the golden rice fields on both banks. Ta Pa field at the foot of Ta Pa and Co To mountains, located about 1km from Tri Ton town, in Nui To commune, Tri Ton district, An Giang province. Standing out in the vast field is Ta Pa pagoda on the hill of the same name, attracting tourists to admire the unique Khmer architecture. Horseshoe Hill is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai every rice harvest season, with U-shaped terraced fields arranged on the hill like a giant horseshoe.
