Located in Mangshan National Forest Park in Chenzhou, China, the Cliff Bed Experience was launched – paradoxically enough – to relax and forget about the world .
The porch-like platform, which was put into use as part of the outdoor adventure package at the attraction, features wooden slats, an air mattress, a quilt and a pillow, according to the Global Times .

In the viral images, a girl can be seen stretching out her arms in comfort as the camera pans to the panoramic mountain views all around.
Despite the word “bed” in the title, this elevated retreat isn’t for sleeping, but for relaxing and taking selfies. And the Cliff Bed does its job well.
Not everyone was worried, however. "It wasn't as scary as I expected," said one thrill-seeker. "It took about half an hour to enjoy - mostly taking pictures and trying out new sensations."
Naturally, relaxing on a cliff may seem dangerous, but there are plenty of safeguards in place to prevent people from falling over the edge, including safety ropes clipped to the rock that visitors must put on before lying down.

Participants must also be between the ages of 14 and 60, while anyone between the ages of 14 and 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult. The attraction is also not suitable for those weighing more than 100kg.
Before being taken up to Cliff Bed by cable car, visitors must fill out a form asking them about the details mentioned above as well as any pre-existing health conditions.
Visitors pay $13 to enjoy this attraction and receive a free cup of coffee upon arrival.
It seems the height doesn't deter thrill seekers as since opening on April 25, Cliff Bed has welcomed nearly 400 visitors.
